Lower Dolpo Trek
Our adventure starts with a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley. On the next day we shall take a flight to Nepalgunj. Then another flight to Jhuphal from where our actual trek starts in Dolpo area. In the beginning days of our trek we should go through the town settlement of Dunai (2,140m). Then we go Tarakot (2,537m), Laini Odar (3,370m), Nawarpani (3,475m). And later reach Do Tarap arranged at a hoisted elevation of 3,944 meters above sea level on the eight day of our trek. Our trekking course lets us pass through the shrouded ranges of Nepal intersection two passes in particular Numa La pass (5,190m) and Baga La pass (5,070m). Without a doubt, Dolpo with its own particular appeal still offers a great deal progressively. Trekking in Lower Dolpo can give any trekker an experience worth their entire lifetime.
The district was open for visitors in 1982. As you carry on with your trek, you shall realize that our Lower Dolpo trekking offers you untouched universal values of unexploited culture and way of life of local indigenous communities. Additionally Dolpo is also one of the few spots where individuals still take after pre-Buddhist Bon religion. Trekking course gives you a chance to enter Shey Phoksundo National Park, the biggest national stop of Nepal. This trek is reasonable for those timely trekkers who wish to explore Dolpo region without actually trekking to higher elevations during their trek or don’t have much time for Upper Dolpo Trek. Ultimately we shall end our trek as we navigate our way away from Shey Phoksundo to Chhekpa and Jhupal for a flight back to Kathmandu.
Final Thoughts:
Trekking to Lower Dolpo is otherwise called the exploration of lovely Himalayan icy glacial Lake of Phoksundo. This is our most requested 16 days trek.
