Langtang Trek
( pine forest, streams, valleys of daisies and primulas, Nepal’s first National Park, visited by far fewer trekkers, close up views of the Langtang and Jugal Himal, known as the ‘ valley of glaciers’, experience Tibetan cultute and life firsthand, collect blessings at old Buddhist shrines like the Langtang Gompa and the Kyangjin Gompa, help the local Langtang people recovering after the 2015 earthquake)
The Langtang trek is one of the hidden treasures of Nepal. The valley, so close from the capital city is visited by far fewer trekkers than the Everest Base Camp and the Annapurna Base Camp. The best time to visit would be Sep-May. You can experience the untouched authentic Tibetan Culture and life firsthand. You can also get blessings at old Buddhist shrines like the Kyangjin Gompa. The trek is visually pleasing as well with the pine forest, cold streams, valley of daisies and the Mountain View. This place has recently been opened for trekking after the 2015 earthquake. So, you can have a wonderful time in Nepal while also helping the local people re-establish themselves.
